Advanced Settings

1. Tap the Menu button in the top right corner.

2. Then scroll down and tap Settings.

Account

1. Account — View & manage your account.
2. Manage Subscription — Upgrade, cancel or change your subscription.
3. Redeem Code — Use a Team or Promo Code.

Cloud Sync

1. Automatic Sync — (on by default) When enabled, Topo Maps+ will schedule syncs automatically at certain times (on app startup, after you create data, etc). This keeps your Topo Maps+ account updated with your recent data for cross-device syncing and backup.
2. Automatic Sync Over Wifi Only — This will prevent Topo Maps+ from auto-syncing if you are not connected to Wifi, in order to save on cellular data, as well as prevent it from trying to sync without a connection at all.

General

1. Units — When enabled, Topo Maps+ will use meters and kilometers wherever distance or elevation is displayed.
2. Use Magnetic North — When enabled, Topo Maps+ will use Magnetic Northinstead of True North for the Compass feature.
3. Show Location Stats in Toolbar — When enabled this will show your elevation, and if you are doing an activity, it will show you your speed and the remaining time on your activity.
4. Disable Auto Lock — This will prevent your phone from locking the screen automatically while in the app.
5. Manage Storage — This allows you to delete maps from your downloads.

Map

1. Show Trace Magnification — When enabled, a magnifier will appear when doing things like drawing routes so you can better see where you are drawing.
2. Disable Map Rotation Gesture — This disables the ability to rotate the map with two fingers.
3. Dark Mode Dims Map — This will dim the brightness of the map while using Dark Mode on your device.
4. Location Marker — Here, you can change the size, color, and icon for your location marker.

Recording Tracks

1. Auto Pause Track Recording will recognize when you have stopped moving while recording a track, and pause the recording. You can stop to enjoy a view without skewing your track metrics.
2. Disable Car Ride Detection — Enabling this will disable car ride detection and let you continue your recorded activity.
3. Show Recording Stats In Toolbar — Enabling this will show your distance traveled, duration, and current elevation during an activity.
4. Live Activity — Customize the metrics that the Recording Track Live Activity will display on the Lock Screen. For more information, check out this article.

My Data

1. Show Waypoints At All Zoom Levels — Enabling this will prevent waypoints from disappearing when zooming out. (They will still get extremely small when zoomed out significantly)
2. Show Waypoint Titles on Map — This will display your waypoint titles along with the icon on the map. You can customize where the title will be positioned for each waypoint by editing the waypoint itself.

Coordinates

1. Coordinate Format — gives you the ability to select a preferred format for location coordinates (Latitude/Longitude, UTM, etc.)
2. Datum — (WGS84 by default) This lets swap between WGS84 and NAD27.

Reset

1. Reset All Route Colors & Styles — This will reset all routes to the default color & style.
2. Reset All Track Colors & Styles — This will reset all tracks to the default color & style.
3. Delete All My Data — This will permanently delete all your Topo Maps+ data (includes what is stored on the cloud)
